| Take a step back into the history of Mississippi County, research family or history of the area, have a class or family reunion, buy books about Mississippi County history and people, Christmas ornaments, or note cards, or even volunteer---it can all be done at the Mississippi County Historical & Genealogical Society and Museum at 209 W. Hale in Osceola. |

| In the museum, you can see history from Indian times through the 50's, all displayed in a building that still has the origional shelving, counters, display cases, and even stools that were put in the general mercantile store when it was opened in 1904. New displays are added constantly, as families donate historical significant items. |
